How to re-awaken the Mind of a Child

  Fear: The Foundation

Fear is our natural response to physical and/or emotional danger.
Thus, we can protect ourselves from threats, real or imagined.
Actual threats may be such events that put our lives in jeopardy.
Imagined fears are truly all in the head
that we hold onto for some benefit (c.f. Secondary Gain).
Post Traumatic Stress or other experiences we label as bad or somehow threatening.
In either case, FEAR is the foundation
we use to make-up our Personal Demons.

It's just fear, which, for some of us, becomes a conditioned habit pattern of behavior.
We may be afraid or fearful and not even know it.
Such fear may show up as physical impediments or hypochondria or psycho-somatic ailments or
just plain, good ol' every day neurotic dispositions
—any of which we just accept as being part of the way we are.

When everything is said and done, is not FEAR
just a bio-chemical reaction triggered by an internal or external event
I perceive as a threat.
